Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Yes the game most Wii owners have been waiting for is finally here! I couldn't believe it when I walked into Tesco and they had 3 copies of the game. I thought it would sell out really really quickly. Guess I was lucky. I haven't had time to play it yet but I will later. Let's just hope my Wii reads the disc because I have heard that people with lauch Wii's are having problems getting their Wii to read the Brawl disc. Which sucks! Mine isn't a lauch Wii so it should work!

Okami Wii

Hi, Welcome to CreepingThroughTime I just got Okami Wii so here is some stuff about it.
Okami was originally released on the PS2 in 2006 and was developed by Clover Studio. Since then Clover Studio has closed however Okami has been released on the Wii this year. It was developed by Ready at Dawn and published by Capcom. Okami is a Japanese game but western gamers can still enjoy it. It features many amazing Japenese myths and legends. The game is set in Nippon. As you start the game it tells you the story of Shiranui a white wolf and Nagi a swordsman who save Kamiki village from a evil eight headed demon, Orochi. 100 years later you play as Amaterasu a sun goddess reincarnated as the white wolf Shiranui. Sakuya, the wood sprite wants you to save Nippon from darkness and accompanied by Issun a funny little bug you learn all 13 celestial brush techniques from the Celestial Gods and eventually you and Susano( Nagi's ancestor) will recreate the past and battle the evil Orochi.

Side-by-side comparison of the original photorealistic (left) and the final game(right).

A comparison of the PlayStation 2 (left) and Wii graphics, showing the "paper parchment" filter in the PlayStation 2 version.
There are hardly any differences between the Ps2 and Wii version however the loading mini game, final credits movie and epilogue were removed from the Wii version because of things to do with the clover studio logo being in the credits and various other reasons.

Okami has received very positive feedback from critics some even giving it a 10. If you like the Zelda series or just want a really fun adventure game that will last you for hours then you should defiantly get Okami.

IGN Watermark on box
The cover of the North American Wii version of Ōkami has a watermark from IGN that can be seen by Amaterasu's mouth. To make up for the error, Capcom offered for a limited time only to replace the cover with one of three high-resolution covers free of charge to users in North America. They have now ended the offer but have put the images on the web in high qualitly so you can print them out and stick them on. The European PAL version of this cover didn't have this error.
