Just a quick post to say Pikachu rocks in Brawl. My favourite costumes are Blue Googles and Green Headband. Green Headband Pika is the best!!!

Time for a change???

I have been getting the Official Nintendo magazine for nearly a year now but last week for some reason I decided to buy Ngamer. I am so glad I did because Ngamer is just so much better. Ngamer is alot more interesting than ONM because they are not an official magazine so they can write about rumors and all sorts of interesting other stuff. They are allowed to review games eariler and Ngamer knows how to make you laugh. Maybe it's because ONM is more targeted at kids and Ngamer is more targeted at adults but Ngamer is by far the better magazine. The only downside is Ngamer's £1 more than ONM and the free gifts are not as good but as long as the magazine stays in top shape Ngamer is going to be my monthly magazine.

Okami ending

The other day I finished Okami for the very first time. The ending was so sad and sweet but I'm not gonna spoil it for anyone reading. If you want to see the ending then please buy okami because it is a really great game and if more people buy it then a sequel might be made and Okami deserves a sequel. Doesn't it?

It took me about 60 something hours to finish because I took my time collecting all the stray beads( Spoiler!!! collecting them all gives you 10x attack, infinite solar enery and never ending ink.)and treasures. I also completed the animal tome. There are lots of things to collect in Okami and it will take you ages to collect everything.
Anyway at the end of the game depending on how well you do you can get costumes for Ammy and lots of videos, art and music from Issun. There are nine costumes including: A real wolf, a cute fat wolf, and a black wolf. However none of them are as good as the real Ammy.
I have now started a new game on Okami and I am preparing to go through this magical adventure again.

Above is a pic of Ammy and wolf Link. The 2 games ( Okami and Twilight Princess) and their heroes have been having a bit of a war for a while now but having played both games and loving each one I am going to say that Okami is the better game. Everything about okami is great: The characters , The story, The monsters, The dungeons, the collectables and Amaterasu. Ammy has so much more personalty than Link and Ammy's a wolf! I'm not saying Twilight Princess is rubbish because I enjoyed playing through it and Midna is a great character( just not as good as Issun) but Okami has something Twilight princess doesn't. So go out and buy Okami today and make the world a better place.

Okami annoyance

I know alot of people have trouble with the stray bead 48 sidequest in Okami and I personally think it is one of the worse parts in the game. The sidequest is in Sei-an City (C. Qtr). First you must buy the little girl some charcoal from the shop. When you talk to her she will show you a picture. Go to see Mr chic and draw the picture she showed you on the kimono. If you did it right then mr chic will say "It might make something happen. Lucky you. If he doesn't then you have to keep drawing it until he does. There are five symbols. After you do each one right go back to the girl to get praise and she will show you another symbol. The symbols are susposed to go in this order but any order will do:

- Star

- Heart

-V sign

- Clover( four circles)

- Heaven sign( Kanji)

The girl showed me the star twice and I never had to draw the heart which is weird. However I had so much trouble with the Kanji symbol I was ready to give up. It took me 4 days of drawing it over and over again and eventually I did it. If you are trying to do the Kanji symbol DO NOT GIVE UP because you will do it!

R.I.P. Bolshy

I have some very sad news. My rabbit Bolshy who was only 3 died last week on thursday 7th August. We don't know why Bolshy died but he died in a awful way. On wednesday night he wasn't eating so the next day my mum took him to the vets. They gave him some special food but by the time he got home he could hardly move. Poor thing. He wasn't eating the food and 2 hours later he died. I miss him so much and so does my other rabbit Misty.

Official Nintendo Magazine issue 33

See told you I would be posting alot. Mind you it's not like there's much else to do. It's raining outside and my parents are at work.
So got issue 33 on friday.

Feedback Time

Cover- Loving the cover but that's probably because I love animal crossing. It's the best cover since the new design.

Contents- Select stuff was good and you even manged to make E3 sound good. Well done! On page 15 Chandra looks like evil rep( see evil rep post) it freaked me out. I always enjoy reading the letters. The animal crossing feature was amazing I never knew they were bringing back Christmas and Halloween until I read this feature. Cooking feature was also funny.

Gift- Game case was alright I got the green one. Playing cards were cool but sadly I don't play card games.

Best bits- Animal Crossing feature

Worst bits- Super smash bros brawl guide was a bit messed up. I thought sonic was the fastest character in the game not fox and you are forgetting about Link's down points.

Overall- One of the best issue's so far. Features were great. Guides could have been better. Good job!

Is that even possible?

I found some amazing pictures of the different stages in Super smash bros brawl and just had to post them here. Apparently this person used a cheat device to take pictures of the stages from different angles. BTW I did not take any of these pictures.

Evil rep!

This is a story of a very very evil rep it all started with a whats on welcome party so lets begin

Most hotels have welcome parties where they tell you what you can do and where you can go. The hotel we stayed in( Coma Gran) had welcome parties, lots of them. On our first day we decided to go to one of these welcome parties( what a big mistake) So we sat down and the reps did their welcome party and it was all very boring. However one rep nick named "Jazzy John"( they all had stupid nick names but my nick name is so much better so from now on he will be called evil rep) was also at the welcome party because he is the head rep. The reps already hated me anyway because I didn't want to join their stupid teenagers club so when I got so bored I pretended to go to sleep it only made them hate me even more. Also about 10mins before the welcome party started my mum had gone to the reps desk and found a hat in this box and taken it. Now there is nothing wrong with that because it was a nice hat and the box is there for people to leave things they don't want so other people can have them. The box is by the reps desk where they sell trips and that unfortunately is where evil rep works. So anyway back to the welcome party one of the other reps " Chatty Chelsea" was wearing a straw hat like the one my mum got and I reckon evil rep wanted the hat we had because every time we put on the hat he kept looking at us.( I still have the hat now and it will be forever named evil reps hat. We should have left it for evil rep but never mind)

but that's not the end to this story...

That's not my name
Evil rep already hated us. He was on stage saying stuff about becoming friends and my mum said
" They are not really your friends" which is very true. Evil rep couldn't have heard my mum say that so one of the other reps must have said something to him because when the welcome party finished he walked past and shot me the first of his many evil looks and that's how he got his name.

Time goes by...
Time pasted by and nothing else happened for a while. Evil reps desk was by reception so we walked past it every day and night. More welcome parties were held and we had to walk past evil rep every time with him giving me more evil looks. One night we found a planner on the desk and we nicked it. The next day evil rep gave me a accusing look.( I still have the planner) Also at dinner in the restaurant evil rep would come for his dinner and freak me out by just being him.

One day after breakfast the maid was cleaning our room so we couldn't go in it. We went downstairs and hanged around reception. There was another welcome party on so we sat at the back on the chairs and guess what? Evil rep is hanging around at the back. He walks towards us giving us the evils so we ran away fast!!!

One night when evil rep should have gone home me, my mum and Alex went down to look in the box. I looked up and guess who is behind reception, The one the only evil rep. Evil rep looks up and stands there just staring at us and giving me his evilest look ever. That look really really really freaked me out. It was like he guarded that box with his life. He then starts coming toward us so we ran into the lift.

The rep show
Every Tuesday all 21 reps hold their amazing rep show. Evil rep wasn't in it much but at the end he came out into the audience and stood by a tree and shot me a very evil look. Then he went up on stage and all 21 reps did the club songs. Evil rep couldn't do it very well and I did actually feel sorry for him. Me and mum ran away when they were doing their club songs with evil rep desperate to get us. We went through the box and then we hid on the first floor and waited for evil rep. After about half an hour he did actually come and go home. That is one of the last times I saw evil rep.

So that's the story. I'm sure evil rep wasn't really that evil and he was maybe even a very nice guy but it made the holiday interesting. I don't know why evil rep hated us so much but who cares, you never know evil rep could be a vampire.

Summer Holidays!!

On Friday at around 3am I got back from one of the most fantastic holidays I have ever had! I went on holiday to Majorca with my mum, dad and brother. We stayed in the Coma Gran hotel which is in Sa Coma. Most of the time we spend on the beach but we did go to the caves of drac, a safari park and a castle. We didn't hang around the pool much because of the annoying reps and because it was so busy that you couldn't even get a sunbed without coming down at 7am to reserve one. We had all out meals in the restaurant. It was very nice food but after a week I got bored of it. One of the most annoying things was the amount of reps! There were 21 reps and I know the hotel is a Familyclub xtra hotel but there is no need for that many of them. Overall I had a really good holiday and I am hoping that we will go back there next year.

Official Nintendo magazine(UK)

Haven't posted for a while but I'm finishing school in 4 days(YAY) so I will be posting a lot more then. I know most of my posts are about gaming but I love gaming and no I'm not a computer geek. I do have lots of friends who I see all the time. I am just a Girl Gamer and I'm am proud to be one. More girls should play video games.




Anyway I got the Official Nintendo Magazine on Friday 4th July( day that it came out) and as usual it is a great read. I started getting it from issue 26 and have never regretted it as in my opinion it is one of the best gaming magazines out there.

The official Nintendo Magazine comes out every month( should be every 2 weeks because it is way to long to wait for the next issue) It is priced at £3.99 and is only available in the UK and Ireland. My Feedback on issue 32

Cover- Cover is alright but not one of the best last issues was better but that had spoilers on it not that I care about spoilers. There is too much text on the front. The old covers were better because they focused on one image and about two lines of text.

Select- I really enjoyed the select features. The 'Life in Technicolour' article was a good read and it is interesting to see that most people like and want black Wii's and Ds's. 'The Waiting game' article about the Europe brawl delay was annoying because there still is no excuse for the long delay but at least delays are getting shorter. I like the Hot list and Global sections so keep them in but the official sales charts should still have funny comments on them because I enjoyed reading them.

Feedback- I always love reading the letters section and I am liking the random rant bit. The mock covers were not that good. I can't see why the brawl one got in there but the Ask Nintendo one is funny. The Okami letter was very true. They should advertise Okami more in the magazine. However in the reply to that letter the Okami picture covers up some of it.

Features- Liked the game and watch feature it was like a history lesson. Amazing how the Multi Screen Game and Watch looks like the DS. The brawl interview was interesting too. But not everyone has a Gamecube controller to play the game with. The graphics in brawl have really changed compared to the original Super Smash Bros game and Melee.

Previews- Not that much to look forward to. All the summer sports games look boring probably because I hate sports. The harry potter game looks alright but I don't think I will get it. Lost in the blue looks interesting and so does Viva Pinata.

Reviews- Hardly any good games this month. Not one got above 90%. Alone in the dark turned out bad not that I wanted it. The review of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon has put me off getting it and I knew the Hulk game would be rubbish. Shame about Pokemon Ranch. The Round up section is a good way to review the games that don't need big reviews.

The Making of Lost Winds - I really like this bit of the magazine to because its interesting to see all the drawings of the game and how they made it. Not that bothered about Lost Winds, but it was a good interview.

Directory- Get rid of the 'How to' bit in the directory because it is wasting 4 pages and I think most people who read this magazine would already have a Wii or DS and know most things about them and if you don't look on the internet for help. The cheats and tips for games are always good but there should be more Brawl ones. I don't do any of the Challenges but its nice to have them. The Rated Wii/DS/ Wii shop pages are good but take any Wii play on the Rated Wii because it is so boring. The last page of the magazine that has facts about a different character each month is very interesting.

Free gift- An Art Book! This has to be one of the best free gifts yet. It is amazing and there should defiantly be another one but the Wii stickers that came with it went straight into the bin so don't do any more.

Overall great issue. Can't wait for the next one about Animal Crossing Wii and E3 and I will be logging onto the Official Nintendo Magazine website at around 9pm on the 15th of July because I so want to see what games are announced at E3 Keep up the good work ONM!!!
